what media is best to use in 2nd calcium reactor chamber to help keep PH higher in reef

I have very course media in the main chamber and wondering what i should use in the secondary chamber to help dissolve some of that CO2... thanks

You can use aragonite sand in the second chamber. Some reefers use this
