What should I do about this?

I don't even know the name of this frag that I bought, it looked like a tall branch at the LFS and after a week it started to look like this

What can I do to help it ?

Looks like a green leather. Possibly Nepthea or Sinularia not sure, but it is probably just adjusting to the new tank. Verify your parameters and give it time.

This is normal for a leather coral to contract and it will then go back to a full posture after a few days.

Leathers have a reputation for being grumpy. Very very true.

Man... i don't need grumpy in my tank ! lol can it be due to light ?

Its acclimating to the food, ph, light, alk, flow etc.

From time to time My toadstools would go from amazing(monday), to looking almost dead, Today.:confused:

I moved my toadstool along with my green finger out of the 20g into the reefer 2 weeks ago. When from awesome to this.

He typically gets grumpy everything I've done moved him. 2-3 weeks has been the norm.

Flow and light are huge with this guy. I'm currently fighting on if I should move him up level with the finger. My gut says to let him be.

That's when I look at corals on liveaquaria.
They've also been having sales on ORA fish.
