Randy, silicate has been raising my alk. Iv been dosing silicatw waterglass for 5 days now. I dillute it with 200ml of rodi water, and mix it on the stirrer, and my alk tested today confirmed with hanna, salifert, and neptune trident. Its at 10.0 i jumped from 9.4 alk to 10 im very concerned.
How do i treat large amphidium dinos? If i stop dosing solicate its all over my sand.
Waterglass the one u linked earlier in the thread 2ml dilluted with 200ml of rodi.
Im dosing all for reef, 53ml a day, and its keeping my alk, mag, cal. Stable. If i dial back my dosing. Im gonna lose the balance on the other 2 elements. Thats why i need to switch to redsea 4 part program. Whats your input on it? It has 1 trace bottle, mag, cal,alk. I know u said u dont like it before because it makes u dose alk based on calcium. Do u think its not a good idea?
