Looking for substrate suggestions for my new 75 gal. mixed reef. Prefer small grain size but want to avoid sand storms in tank. Will live sand speed up cycle and stabilize new tank quicker or is live sand a waste and not necessary? I will be using the rock from my old 34 gal. Solana along with additional dry rock and all of the water from the Solana. Any thoughts and ideas are appreciated.
