What test tube is everyone using with their TM Hydrometer?

Same here! I've been shutting down the pumps so the hydrometer stops bobbing and can get an accurate read. I know some folks use a graduated cylinder for this purpose but I'm not sure what size either.

The reason why they are looking for something is because they are fragile.

OP - look for a 500 ml tall graduated cylinder. That is what I use.

Edit: I cannot see the name/brand on mine anymore, sorry. It is 14" tall though.

I got this 500 mL glass graduated cylinder to use with my Tropic Marin hydrometer. This one was very reasonably priced, and easier to see through than plastic or dare I say I piece of capped PVC pipe
