I am going to Anchorage, Alaska for a nursing clinical in the beginning of August. I am very excited about this experience. We are staying at the dorms for a week while we do our clinical work at the hospital. They offered to us that if we want to come earlier before our clinical week, we can stay for $35 per night. I figured that this is super reasonable and I would kind of like to go a little early. My question is... what kinds of things are there to do in Alaska? Would it be worth going a few days early to check out Anchorage? Any comments would be appreciated, especially if people live in or have visited Anchorage, Alaska! Thanks in advance!

You can go play with the grizzlies. I think that's what most folks do when they visit Alaska. Just don't get eaten by them.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
