I use LED, like the majority now, 2-3 years ago I went with the hydra 26's and haven't looked back. Growth has been great, color is to my liking as well.

I use two four-tube quad corallife t5 fixtures (old school model) with an orbit marine LED fixture.

I've been really happy with both as the two together give my tank an appealing white glow. Just the t5 lamps look too yellow in my opinion and the LEDs alone aren't strong enough for this tank. My father is the owner of a lighting business and has his own line of horticulture lighting, so we're thinking of adding some blues to really make the colors pop, but for now these I think look appealing and the corals and fish seem to like them as well!

All 3! 48" Giesemann Spectra MH/T5 combo with a Kessil A360we mounted in the middle. New build will need a bigger light but I will be going the same route with a 72" Spectra MH/T5 and 2 Kessil A360's.

Old pic of a setup I dont have anymore. The light is currently on my frag tank.

My tank is lit with T5's. It would take a lot to get me to switch to anything else. I love the color, growth and look I get from them. No shadowing like leds. I am however considering MH for a frag tank I'm planning out.
