Yeah, that’s the easiest way if no filter sock holders. Can’t you not just hang the sock on your overflow pipe?
That can work, just be careful. Don’t flood the house. My clarisea is connected to the pipework it self I do have the emergency overflow could I shut the valve off to the clarisea and run the emergency overflow to the 5 micron sock

Don’t say that ! the Mrs would lose herThat can work, just be careful. Don’t flood the house.
You could do that too. Cut it up and glue it on the front of the weir.I like your commitment, I would be too lazy to even think about removing the Clarisea, I would probably end up standing holding the sock over the return inlet
Ok thanks for all the advice mate ! Really appreciate it all of you !I’m fixing to hit the bed so I can work tonight. Let me know how this works out for you. It’s helped me many times in the past. 1-5 micron socks are kinda hard to find. Amazon might be a last resort.

Gotta know where to look! I have access to about 3 places now, but they can be difficult to find if you’re not in US.Glad you said that, I was thinking you had him looking for the elusive 5 micron sock which was a task, now the 1 micron! I think he’ll find it on the end of a unicorn horn
What happened in one of my tanks.. a snail spawned into the water column causing the water to become cloudy. Also, is there a possibility that something went into your wave maker? I have heard stories of anemones getting sliced into pieces by wave makers. My tank has turned pretty cloudy over night it looks as if it could be bacterial bloom but why would this Happen I haven’t changed anything or added anything and nothing has died in the tank and decomposed
Could anybody give an insight to why this could happen please
phosphates are 0.01 and nitrates are 5
0 ammonia and 0 nitrite
Cloudy aquarium water can be caused by a number of things, including micro bubbles, an algae bloom, a sand storm due to high flow in the display, calcium precipitation, coral spawning or a bacterial bloom. As @vetteguy53081 said. Put carbon in there and it’ll clear up.....
Ive never had this happen before? What causes a boom like this?
