Nems are weird and fickle creatures. It could be closing up because of anything from water parameters, to lighting, to flow, to it’s pooping, to nothing at all. We need more information. To start:
How long have you had it?
How old is the tank? What are your water parameters?

first thing your going to be asked is for your chemistry results, how old the tank is, your lighting, water flow, how long you've had it.... oh and that aptasia in the back ground

I bought a used set up kept all the same water all the parameters are good the nem I’ve only had for a week but the other bta is doing great

Can you get rid of aptasia the aquarium store locally said it’s not a huge deal just kinda ugly

If it's only one, or a couple, I would use boiling water in a syringe and inject into its center with the pumps off. 2 shots will usually vaporize it and keep spores/other pieces from starting new ones.

aptasia grows fast... and and spreads even faster... and kills / irratates nearly everything around it. If not managed your tank will eventually become a aptasia only tank.

Just ate, just pooped, both, either, deflation is a normal function.

Only it does not inflate in a few days, that’s not normal.

Aptasia can be a relentless pest. Kill all.
