What's everyone using to LIGHT their saltwater reef aquarium?

4 ghl mitras lx7206 and 2 lx 7204s over my 84x48x30 reef tank. Seems to work pretty well as my montiporas, birdsnest, and stylopora seem to be getting bigger

Start with telling her you want to put the sun domes in your kitchen or family room and if she goes for that, it's an easy upgrade for the fish tank. If that fails it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

When I brought the idea to my late wife she was absolutely amazed and told me to do it! I had the first hole in the wall within the hour.

Have you verified the American made part? I thought they told me they cannot do custom layouts as they order the lights from a manufacturer.

I am happier with my lights the past few weeks since I heavily modified them. I am running 4 - 165 watt vipraspectra lights. I changed out all but the center row of whites, red and greens. I used 2 different color blues and like them a lot better now. Went from the ugly yellow to a nice lighter blue when both channels are on.

I would love to upgrade to one of the major brand but just do not have several thousand in my fish budget to spend on lighting. Only way I see for major lighting upgrade is one of them sponsoring my tank or hitting the powerball.

One AI Hydra 26 HD over my RSM 130D with softies and a few LPS frags. I like it just don't feel like I have it tuned in/set correctly but don't really want to mess with the settings either.

I am happy with my Hydra 26 hd's but have been thinking of upgrading lights. I have been look at the GHL leds but I am also looking at the Blue G6 lights. Right now the Radons are wining with the one big cluster.

I have Reefbreeders 32" Photon V2+ over and 2 T5 coral+ supplementing and really like the combo. Adding the T5's drastically changed the visual appearance of the tank, (40g breeder). Tank is all SPS and good growth so far but it is young so time will tell.

Loving my 3 Kessil A360X, 2 Reefbrite Add-on kits, and 1 G5 XR15 Pro (thinking of trying the G6 upgrade kit*)
I’ve gone back and forth between 3:1 Radions/Kessil and 3:1 Kessils/Radion over the last year but the shimmer and coral color difference with the Kessil dominate lighting won me over.
