What's growing on my hammer coral?

When this first started to grow I thought it was a new head forming, but now that I see antenna coming out it's obviously a pest of somekind.

Vermetid snail. You will want to physically remove it (and it’s shell)

Since it’s on the plug, it’s easiest to take the plug out and physically remove/crush it with plyers or wrench or something similar. The shell is not overly strong and won’t take much strength to crush /remove it. You will also be able to see the worm that was inside if you’re curious what it looks like.
