None are adequately useful for home use when used by ordinary hobbyists, IMO.

I recommend not testing magnesium. Dose it in proportion to calcium and it will be fine.

If you do want to test, get the Hannah MG tester

Salifert and Aquaforest easy to use.
Hanna MG gave me highly fluctuating results. Too small of sample. Same with Hanna CA test.

Nothing wrong monitoring this number.
