whats this snail doing

hey guys i just finished the water change on my tank and i noticed some of my snails squirting out this white substance are they mating or something has anyone else witnessed this.its pretty interesteing

What kind of snail is that? My banded trochus snails actually breed in my tank. I've got babies all over the place. :)

i forgot what type they are. sorry but i do know there the cheaper ones that you find in all the stores.well atleast here in south florida
