What's your most active fish at night?

Nothing quite like when someone revives an old thread. Thanks for doing so, @Boehmtown . I am fairly sure that @Crabs McJones will be pleasantly surprised.

Maybe this thread will gain more traction if people post up pics of their active nighttime friends. Maybe even extend the offer beyond fish only.

And for the rest of everyone who has sleep issues like me...

My wife would always think my clown fish were dead when it was night time, but it’s just how they slept, haha. Anyways, I didn’t have may active fish at night

Mine do the same. I always think. Yea you're probably just there for food

As the day comes to an end and the lights over the reef start to dim down, all of the fish go to their sleeping spot. The blenny nuzzles up in a small cave, the clown hovers around the front corner, and everyone else is tucked behind the rockwork. The lights go out and everyone is asleep never to be seen again until morning. EXCEPT! My potters angel. Everyone else is sleeping or tucked in for the night and she is cruising all over the place picking at rocks and having a great ol time.
Do you have a fish that is a night owl?

With the new meridian 63 and moonlight my Sailfin tang is definitely more active at night, and if I feed now at night almost everyone comes out, even though I'm spot feeding corals.

They do all tend to sleep though, just not nearly as much it seems.... Except Frank (Foxface). He's a big sleeper.

My snowflake moray eel is the night owl. He's out hunting after everyone goes to bed... well, it's more like begging. He just sticks his head out and looks around for the shrimp he knows I'm going to give him.

I got mine from Biota a year ago. I think the CB marine bettas are less shy, but I’ve never had another one. He won’t bother corals and isn’t territorial but might eat small shrimp or tiny fish less than 1/2”. Although, I have a Randalls pistol shrimp around 1/2”, and he shows no interest. He’s a bit of a slow eater. Sometimes I feed him small pieces of LRS reef frenzy with tongs so that other fish don’t steal it. He has a lot of personality - great fish.
