Just curious - Have any of you ever heard of Montipora Varicosa before? I picked up a frag at a swap and am really excited about it - only my second attempt at SPS, but it seems to be doing well and looks really cool.

It has a knobby growth pattern and is bright green with dark blue or purple polyps.

The M. verrucosa is one of my favorites. I call mine a danae, but they are very similar 9along with a few others). Here's my blueberry.
Close-up-041906.jpg

twon, I think your blue polyped Stylo and the garf ocean blue are very similar. Here is one of my stylo frags amonst a few Myagi's.
garf-ocean-blue-stylo.jpg

It started out mostly blue, but all three I have have turned pink with blue polyps (very blue under actinics).

i have two pink stylos with different color polyps. one pink stylo has tourqouise green polyps, the other has blue polyps.

both are wicked cool. totally forgot about them, they are in my top 5.

i have a verrucosa also. it started as yellow with blue polyps, then turned into more of a white with blue polyps like gflats pic, now its a light green with blue polyps.
