Where is the best location in a tank to place Candy Cane Coral? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Can I just put the plug on the sand and let them go? I got them a few days ago and you guys are right about loving the bottom. They look great with a lot of greyish tentacles.

Yea, you can use the plug to keep them out of the sand. Mine are glued to a rock that's maybe an inch or two off the sand at most.

Sounds like you have a happy coral.

I’m glad I read this thread. I’m moving my candycane corals down a little bit they’re doing OK in the middle of the tank but I think if I move them down a little bit they may really start popping. Remember one of the Commandments is, thou shall not covet thy neighbors corals… Still trying to learn that one.

For lights, I’ve got two AI Prime HDs over the 40B. I do feed them mysis occasionally at night when they extend their feeders.
