Can I just put the plug on the sand and let them go? I got them a few days ago and you guys are right about loving the bottom. They look great with a lot of greyish tentacles.
Thanks for the info! These are some nice looking corals in these pics.Yea, you can use the plug to keep them out of the sand. Mine are glued to a rock that's maybe an inch or two off the sand at most.

I’m glad I read this thread. I’m moving my candycane corals down a little bit they’re doing OK in the middle of the tank but I think if I move them down a little bit they may really start popping. Remember one of the Commandments is, thou shall not covet thy neighbors corals… Still trying to learn that one.
What setting do you have them on?
Give them some years to grow and they will get BIG! LOL
