So recently I've seen some people say that they would be more than happy to share trimmed-off portions of some soft corals like xenia or gsp, but most only offer pick-up options. Does anyone know where I could find these kinds of people locally, or at least a way to find corals for a cheap(er) price? Personally, the prices for these entry-level soft corals are out of my budget at my local LFS.

Do you have local club with meetings or a frag swap? Maybe you could meet up with someone there. My experience has been that I can't even give away most softies (leathers, nepthea, etc) and most people are not willing to pay shipping cost etc.

Just curious, how much would shipping be from where you are to Los Angeles area?
