Where to place my gate valve?

Sorry, I guess I caused the confusion by calling those adapters bulkheads and not being clear enough with descriptions. By bulkheads unions I meant the unions right above the bulkheads :/.

Do you think I should try to fit those unions in?

I'd install it with the valve handle 180 degrees from where it is here, so it's easier to reach. Right now it looks like the stand will interfere with its use.

You can always put the valve above the bend like in your second pic. Then you can use the unions as planned.

My desk will be beside the tank and I will be able to crawl under my desk to reach everything down there but I think it will be more accessible under the stand.

If I glue everything, without the extra pipe between things in the picture it'll be easy to spin. I think I'm going with that.
