Which Anthias is the most hardy?

Hi all.
Love the colors of the anthias. Have tried 2 trios of carberryi from LA and they have slowly faded out both times despite 3x a day feedings (Lrs/rods) and no perceptible parasites/illness etc. Do you guys think there is one variety that’s hardy/easier than the others? I have a 220g mixed reed around 4 yrs old w 15ish fish.

Lyretail or Bartlett

Lyretail's for sure. I have had the most amount of success with them....

None of the pseudoanthias are easy, but id agree that lytetails are the easiest. Bartletts probably second. Both will adapt to aquarium foods pretty well. They do need frequent feedings to be kept in top shape. Color loss is a mixture of food choices (high in carotene) and make/female interactions. Lyretails are among the more aggressive of the anthias and may pick each other off. Bartletts may do the same, plus they tend to all turn male.

I think they key to success with Anthias has always been feeding them multiple times per day.

I have a pair of Lyretails. They started as a trio, one turned male, and then about a year later it died for no apparent reason. The larger of the two females has been thinking about making the change for quite some time now, but seems sorta stuck somewhere in between. I feed them when I feed everybody else. NLS pellets most days, frozen some others, with a skipped day here and there.

I've had 4 Blue Eyed Lyretails for over a year.
All put in the same time. All different sizes.
The biggest morphed male.
Tank is a 150 XHigh.
They are fed pellets, frozen, fisheggs & occasionally live pods.
Feeding (pellets) starts between 4:30/5pm, when my wife gets home, and continues when I get home,
between 7:00/8pm, until lights out @ 11:30.
