I’m running a small 30 gallon and need to dose 3ml of alk and cal a day. Are there suggestions for a dosing unit that is accurate in small increments that works with an apex?

I won an aquavitro sentia dose at a local frag swap. Its worked very well for me. Its quiet, reliable and easy to setup. I have a primary as well as a slave, and its nice that they can be color coded with included removable colored face plates, and colored clips for the tubing.

Will it dose small increments several times a day?

Syringe, daily..
Yeah…. lol. That’s what I’m doing now but I own my business and have 4 kids and a wife. My time is sporadic and limited. I’m looking to make things on time and automated as best I can. 3 ml of each at once is a big jump in a small tank and tapers to 0. Not exactly stable

lol. When I was in this hobby a decade ago I did everything by hand. Its nice to be up close and personal with the tank. But after coming back to the hobby this last year, I've been all about the automation. You cant forget to do something if you have it setup correctly. But you do have to remember to check your automatic systems as part of your routine maintance. A syringe will get the job done and be a heck of a lot cheaper. But if you got $ in your budget automation is nice.

3ml, is such a small amount I wouldn't spent the money until I needed 30mL+.. but any doser with a stepper motors and decent software should get you .1mL resolution

I enjoy the tech side of things.

On a 30g?
No hahah. At that point I had a retired jelly fish display from the Boston aquarium. It was 800 gallons. In that video it was only warming up with a 60 gallon cube upstairs.

yeah I’m an idiot. I sold the whole set up with the tank for 1300. A guy and his buddy came in with a few tools for a few hours and took the whole set up. I turned the room into a grow room and regretted it.
I have 2.5 fish rooms; a grow room sounds nice...
