Hello everyone i am in the process of upgrading my 29 gallon tank to a 75
I need to buy a new light but my funds are limited I am considering
a 6x54 nova extreme pro t5 setup or a sunpod 2x250 with blue and white leds
i am not sure what one to get as i have a mixed reef tank , i really want to get some good coral growth and perhaps get a clam
with the sunpod will the leds give me the bluish color or are t5s the way to go for that ?
thanks

The LEDs on those fixtures are just for moonlights. either one of those fixtures would work fine for what you want.

the t5 fixture would use less power and is still enough light fora 75g
im using a tek elite 6x 54w for my 105 that is also 4' but 29 tall

I'd def go with the t5's. MH's are more heat. I'm getting great colors and growth with my t5's, although I'm using a diff fixture.

Another vote for T5's, but I would strongly suggest a Tek over the Nova. It's much higher quality and better PAR.
