The bubble algae (valonia) in the last reef of the month is interesting. I have even seen it for sale but most people consider it a pest.

Some ulva showed up in my macro tank and I kept it. That one is sometimes called a pest as well but it doesn't seem to cause any problems.

Which algaes do you like that may sometimes be considered pests?

Agree with you on ulva especially if you have tangs or other algae eating tank mates. Its w free food source and nutrient remover!
