Hey guys I've got a rsm130 and am in the process of upgrading everything on the tank and can't decide which sump I should go with?
Option 1
Life reef RSM sump that is a very nice unit and I have heard nothing but positive reviews of all of his products
I would also have him add in a probe holder your my probes for the reef angel controller I'm ordering as well
My only issue with the life reef sump is its made to work with the tunze 9002 skimmer and in really not sure I want to use that one
Option 2
Aqueon model 1 sump
This appears to be a decent quality sump and is roughly the same size as the life reef unit, only difference in size is the height
With this unit I would be able to add whatever skimmer I want but it won't have the integrated probe mount "I can pick one up anywhere though"
I also believe this unit is considerably cheaper as well
Option 3
Have myself or life reef build me a sump that would suit me, problem with this is I haven't decided on a skimmer yet but suppose I would just have to decide before ordering... I'm thinking of getting the avast marine CS1 skimmer as its a good quality skimmer from everything I've read and is also a good value
Any help would be appreciated, I know there's some people using the life reef sump on there RSM's so I would really like to hear those opinions as well
