Backing up a bit here…the amount of flow needed for your tank is really dependent on what type of corals you are wanting to keep. You may find yourself upgrading at some point in the future.

In short, given your 20 gallon tank, I’d probably suggest 1, 425 for now as it is rated for up to 30 gallons.
Oops 😅, I thought I added the coral I wanted in my original post. But, I’m looking into LPS and softies. Thanks for all the help!
You did, sorry I missed that…

I think for your size tank and did the corals you’re wanting to keep the koralia is the best bang for your buck. I’ve not had issues with them in the past, but as others have mentioned, for more
Money, you can get a much superior wave maker.

I have 4 of the DLW-20 in a 25 gallon tank and they are great. Produce a lot of flow and can connect to them with the app and control the flow pattern. I’d say one would be plenty for lps in a 20 gallon. Only reason I have 4 is because I have a lot of sps and it’s bare bottom

I’ll probably get the 2 425 koralias and then upgrade in the future. Thanks for the help!

It's just slightly out of the budget range, but have you looked at the Jebao DMP-5? I think you'll come to appreciate that the wire is outside the tank
oh wow i thought eco tech had a patent on that and no one else could do that? dang i woulda bought that and saved some money.

Sorry to keep coming back 😅. But Im now able to stretch my budget to $160 (I’m a student but just got a Summer job) and am definitely going to invest in a better wave maker. I’ve been researching, and I think the AI Nero 3 would work well, but any other suggestions would be great!
