White blemish on tang

So I picked up a blue tang from my LFS and upon looking at it there is a white blemish on its right side. My daughter had taken a picture with her phone so I zoomed in and brightened it so you can see it. It's not as noticeable as in the picture. What could this be? It's a baby, like 1" or less.

Not sure that the zoom-and-enhance is helping here. Could be an abrasion, could be a bacterial infection . . .
