White hard build up, no signs of life, just curious, thanks!

Where did you get the LR? Could it possibly be super glue from being in a different tank and having coral plugs glued to it?

Not likely, it’s pretty spherical, but that’s the exact color! It came from a friends established tank of about 10 years
