White line

Is it normal for an sps to have a veryyyy thin white line around the base if it’s encrusting or growing , not like a stn or rtn dye off just a thin white line like the skeleton growing out?

A lot of times new growth will appear white, keep an eye on it but I'm sure it'll be fine.
