White stringy stuff coming out at base of Frogspawn?

Does anyone have any idea what this is in the photo? This was take at night as that's when it comes out the most. However it is still noticeable during the day. I have yet to see it come further out than this to make me think it's the feelers.

Looks like it is spitting out algae. What are your water parameters and is anything else doing anything strange?

How long have you had it?

I have had the piece for about 8 months. The parameters have all been the same which is Am:0 Nitri:0 Nitra:5-10 since adding it. Whats wired is it seems to suck all back inside today and sealed up??
