Hey everyone!

I'm new to the hobby and came across something I thought was weird. I have 2 scarlet leg hermit crabs in my tank and noticed that they suddenly have these weird white lines on their shells. One even has a stalk looking thing with a white fluffy tip. I've read about aiptasia but also know these guys can get worms and other parasites. Can anyone help me identify what exactly this is?

Tank specs:
36 gallon bowfront
2-3 months old, in the brown stage
Fluval cp1 and cp2 powerheads
Fluval ac50 hob filter
Fluval sea nano protein skimmer
Standard topfin heater
Water temp kept around 76F
