SCIENTIFIC NAME –Chaetodon mesoleucos
COMMON NAME – Whiteface Butterflyfish
SIZE – 6.3" (16 cm)
MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE – 75 US Gal. (284 L)
FOODS AND FEEDING – The Whiteface Butterflyfish should be offered a varied diet for carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores. Should be fed a minimum of 2 times per day.
REEF COMPATIBILITY – Not recommended.
CAPTIVE CARE – The Whiteface Butterflyfish should be kept singly in home aquaria. This species is aggressive toward other Butterflyfish and should be the last fish introduced to the tank. Prefers temperatures in the range of 74-82 F (23-28 C).
