I get up a little before sunrise and like to watch the reef as ambient sunlight starts to come in as the morning goes on.

My anthias emerge first and the flame hawk comes next.

My Kole and sixline dont emerge until it is quite light outside.

How about you?

As soon as I start making noise around the tank, my rosy scale wrasse will poke his head out and come to the front of the tank and check out what I'm doing. He'll go back to bed once I leave.

My greyhead wrasse is first to rise and first to bed. Comes out of the sand while the lights are off and sleeting when I get in from work while lights are still on. Hoping one day he'll stay out for the whole photoperiod

Leopard wrasse is up hunting when there is barely any ambient light in the room. She's dedicated :)

My copper banded butterfly doesn't seem to go to sleep.
I agree with that. I don't think mine sleeps. He is always too busy begging at the front of the tank for food.
My Melenarus seems to be out and about before the lights turn on as well.

My Powder Brown doesnt seem to sleeep. More so seems to sleep swim so any movement around the tank even in the dark startles him. My Clarkii clown on the other hand sleeps til noon like a teenager and my Adorned Fairy Wrasse sleeps til about 1 or 2 like a hungover teen.

Another butterfly here. My longnose is always front and center begging.

My Kole tang is up within a minute when the lights come on and all over the place right up until they go out. Tank is in the basement rec-room so doesn't get much ambient sunlight beforehand.
