At the moment I’d say there’s no real boss, but the closest is my Red Velvet Fairy wrasse. And it was ridiculously shy at first. Second place goes to the clowns, usually peaceable but will def put other fish in their place if annoyed.

My royal gramma in 65gal tank. My damsel use to constantly pick on the gramma, until he fattened up 3 months later, and now bullies the damsel. Also picks on chromis and firefish, although leaves both clowns alone.

Wow he’s fat! Almost looks more wide then long lol. A fat fish is a healthy fish! At least that’s what I say lol

I have 9 fish in my 56 gallon display but there are never any scuffles, maybe because each fish has its own territory. I suspect if I added the wrong fish that the tomini tang or the Coral Beauty might rise up and have something to say about it, which is why I am keeping things status quo. If I did add more fish, it would be barnacle blennies as I really love them and do not think that they would trigger aggression in the fish that currently live in the tank.

Only two fish, but the clown definitely hates my damsel. If the damsel gets anywhere near his corner he chases the damsel away. Nothing more, but still lol.
