LOL that's why I named my latest Chalice find the Farmboy Chalice. My parents have a 160 acre farm, I am the 4th generation to farm it. Cow's aren't scary, I can actually pet that brown one. Funny you should ask about bears, I took this pic in early May.

LOL I actually opened the gate a few years ago when the grass go out of control and let the cows come in and mow it for me. I built the swing set, and the cows suck at pitching, they just eat, sleep and poop, I can't get them to do anything else.

He actually is a farmer! LOL! That's awesome bro I love farms and animals! My grandpa ran a dairy farm for years and I used to ride cows. He also put me on pigs and they would run me around everywhere. I loved that stuff.

haha...similer thing happen to me awhile back, over 100 head of cattle in my front yard...lol...it was great!

Cows are cool. I miss my old bull I had. He was super tame. He would let you pull on his horns and did not care. Then again he was an old bull who we "pimped" out all the time. Drop your heffer and a couple bails of hay off and come get her in a couple days.

:) not really scared of cows, only bears.

LOL I should take a pic of what is hanging on the wall above my head right now, let's just say I am not sceered of no bears...

Yep, my great grandfather used to run dairy cows here on the farm, the antique milking parlor is still in the barn, which is almost 100 yrs old. It was built in 1916, my dad and I refurbished the whole barn a few years ago.

We have about 40 cows now, and at any time we can have between 20 to 100 pigs. My dad breeds pigs and supply's the local weekend warrior farmers with weaner pigs. When I was young I used to ride them too, now I would just hurt myself if I tried.

Bulls get a bad rap, sure there are some bad apples, and when they are with the cows you just don't bother them. Right now we have a pure bred Black Angus and he's really tame, he has a ring in his nose and we can clip a lead rope on him and walk him like a dog.

Did you say Angus? MMMMMM!! I have his Daddy in the fridge waiting to be put on the grill tomorrow! LOL!

LOL yeah all of our cows are Angus, ether Red Angus or Black Angus. Lets just say when we go out to the steak house for dinner I opt for the seafood...

Ohhh red angus. Reminds me of big red. Big red was not an old steer at all when half of him filled up the commercial fridge in the barn. The butcher got the other half. He took care of us we took care of him. People don't realize how much comes out of half a steer.

When I was a kid we lived in a subdivision but on the other side of the street were woods where a farmer let his cattle roam. New Years Eve there was a block party that the entire neighborhood attended and much alcohol was consumed. The next morning the cows had knocked down part of the barbed wire fence and everyone had them grazing in their front yards. We kids knew they were cows but many of the hung over adults wondered if they were going to start seeing pink elephants next.

I wish my Mom never sold the far in the 70's because of the location lets just say i would have been better off when it would have sold in the 80's.. ;)
