Just got my hands on the power bar you guys over pond have bean using the last number of years! thanks Neptunes!

only 6 plugs but should be ok! good thing its got x3 one link ports! Question is! Do I just use the item like Dos/cor15 I have to just plug in ports without power bricks or plugging into power bar? as the power bar is powered!

Also what would you plug into the x6 sockets? iv got Neptune ATK (auto top off) Neptune dos/ and cor 15 radion xr15 lights and aqualife t5 fixture! Also skimmer and titanium heater

would you run a heater through the powerbar or just use separate controller? iv got a D-D temp controller

sorry still lot to learn with neptunes stuff

I’d use the 1LINK ports for the DOS and COR15 and plug anything that you want to control (that may not have native Neptune support) into the power bar. I have everything on the power bar, as it tells me exactly what my electrical costs are.

1Link can connect:

DOS
Trident
COR-15
WAV

1Link eliminates the need for any external power bricks.

You can also connect 24v accessories to the 2-pin ports:

PMUP
Solenoid
GRO

There’s a 100 watt total limit for all the 1Link and 24v accessory ports. See my Apex Hardware Overview article for a list of wattage used by each device:

would you run the auto top off on the powerbar or just on its own!

Also are the vortech pumps better on mobius or a wxm module

The FMM’s power adapter for the ATK should not be plugged into the EnergyBar because it should have power at all times. The FMM itself turns the pump on and off.

See my ATK tutorial for more details:
