Why are my daisy cutters doing this?

These things only close for a few moments when the lights are going down then they open up through the night. Rinse and repeat when the lights are ramping up also.

I have never seen zoas turn to outies..

Shameless self bump. This lasted about 15 minutes and they went back to normal.

24 hrs ago had an alk spike from 9.9 to 11.2 down to 10.5 now.

Mag 1340
Ph 8.3
Nit 3 ppm
Pho’s barely detectable.
All other corals are fine, Including other zoas

Every once in a while some of my zoas do this and go back to normal. As long as they return to normal I don’t think you have anything to worry about

I do not know the cause
