Why does it look so different under 20k radium

does it look different in person? it looks nothing like pic 1 but somewhat like pic 2 but missing some colors : (

yeah, here is his pic v/s my pic. his is under 20k radium. my radiums haven't kicked on yet, but i will take a pic under my radiums for comparison. i will emphasize that it did just arrive this morning. hopefully some more colors come through when it settles in. :)

my picture looks to me how it looks in person under my t5s.

I agree it doesn't look like the first pic. It is obviously the same coral in pic two though.

His saturation on his picture was way boosted up.

Looks like 'light tricks' to me, but you can tell the flesh color is way off.

i will say that i did get some other nice pieces from him, so i am happy overall. had i bought just this piece, and had it show up expecting to see what his pics showed, it'd probably be another story!

I like the other pieces- the florida gator & the frozen tundra especially. I don't mean to be negative but that's what I find hard about buying online, is you don't know how accurate the picture is and what you'll actually get. It's really a buyer beware approach.

Wow that sucks he made it look like the almighty chalice and that is not cool. :( i do not like when people make thier stuff look different than when you get it makes me really mad. You must be livid i know i would be for that price hope it colors up for you. (photoshop is bad for just that reason)

i will definitely give it a good month before making a final judgement.

but yes, i agree with you. i would much rather show an honest photo and have the customer be happier if it looks better in person than the other way around.

i took you pic and i tried to adjust it with photo shop and boy i couldnt get any blue out of it...may be its just stressed.....hech i have had coral next to the glass and then moved them to a different part of the tank and they changed color.
