Why does my fish keep dying off?

I have a 20 gallon tank with just two clowns. My stats are 0 ammonia 0 nitrite 0nitrate and 7.2 PH. I used to have Flame Hawkish, Royal gramma dottyback and 6 line wrasse that all died. I did 50 percent water changes when they each died. And i have no idea why they are dying please help.

If your not qt'ing fish or sourcing from a GOOD qt'ed source your more than likely are introducing some illness to your tank. Any symptoms before they die? Could be just stress, could be more...

Are you adding bacteria to the tank with each addition of new fish?

-Is your tank cycled? (0 Nitrate seems off for a cycled tank.)

-What symptoms did the fish show before dying?

Im new to the hobby but i think your ph is too low for a start. What water tests are you doing?

1.025 Salinity. Yes it is cycled. I just did a water change so it might be cause of that but avg is 0-5ppm. Fish was inactive.

I rechecked the ph and it was 8.

How did you acclimate them, and how soon after you added them did they die?

If your water is cloudy there could be something suspended in the water column as well that could be killing them off
