Why does my toadstool leather not open?

Hey! So I have had this huge leather for a while and lately it’s been taking a long time to open. I have two the other one is fine and opens quick. Let me know if anything is wrong. May just be slow to open.

I think it’s just a leather being a leather. Nothing to worry about.
Has there been any changes to flow or lighting near it?

You can keep an eye on it, but they often do this for days, weeks, even months, and then they shed a mucous coat. They do this if they are growing, stressed, etc.

+1 on shedding, see of the surface gets kinda glassy, good sign of shedding. Mine took 5 days last time.
