Dang man. I wish I could have seen it. I assume you took a cheap shot at the Russian curling team for using PEDs. That would likely do it.

The obvious political bend in the RC lounge was last on my list and not even worth mentioning. I have friends on both sides of the political spectrum and I don’t think their moderation staff understands how to do the same and still be decent human beings. It’s sad.

The gist of what I told them is that they’re enabling a certain person to “moderate” with utter impunity, who essentially bullies members into personal arguments, or to leave the site entirely. That moderator would cross the line from tongue-in-cheek to being serious without warning, and it’s frustrating to deal with an unpredictable personality like that.

And then, I addressed the teenage elephant in the room. That went over like a fart in church!

I wasn’t a member on the “other forum” long enough to even partake in any lounging. I was too busy being permabanned for a first offense of disagreeing with the moderation team about quarantine! (Something ironically I am a huge advocate for now)!

I got banned from RC too, and I went out in a blaze of glory.

The reason the lounge got totally locked down was an essay I wrote on the scope of their various failings.

Watching them cover it all up, and scrub my name from the site has been quite amusing.

When I heard you got banned too, I did not believe it, so I went to look for the dot or moved on after your user name, and it's like you never existed...and I'm still wondering if you really exist!
