Why is my skimmer doing this?

Is it tuned. You may have to re tune it. Did you add anything else in the tank that will make the skimmer go crazy?Find my skimmer doing this today., the only thing I can think of is that my bio pellets are finally seeded could this, be bacteria being used by the bio pellets.

I had this happen once. It was the felt filter pads I was using as a polisher.
In the past, I used soft felt sheets. But on this particular occasion, the sheets were rigid.
I stopped using the rigid felt and the problem stopped. I concluded that whatever the manufacturer used to make the sheets rigid was the cause.
