Why pipe organ coral not open up normally

Why my pipe organ coral not open up normally like a flower ? Is it because of the strong flow?

Strong flow could be the culprit, try moving it or turn back the flow and see if it responds.

Some are picky. Mine took about 1.5 months to open in perfect water params and lowish flow. Didn't help that the hermit crabs kept breaking the superglue off either

I agree also consider Nitrate and Phosphate they like it quite low
