Unfortunately, the Memphis area doesn't have a vibrant reef community. I used to be a member of the Atlanta Reef Club when I lived in Birmingham and loved it. Wish they had something similar in Memphis. But the price on Amazon is affordable so I'll likely order one soon.
It has plenty of people. You just gotta join all the groups. We've got a discord that has alot of good people on it also if you're interested

Sadly, I haven't met anyone else in the area that's also in the hobby. Would definitely enjoy a link to the discord.
