Hey everyone figured I’d share this I thought it was pretty cool. Was snorkeling in Puerto Rico and saw these wild ricordias. Definitely one of my favorite corals especially because I’m from Florida.

That's awesome! Thanks for posting, I enjoy seeing the stuff we keep in our tanks in their natural environments.

Ohh, PR..., well FL is practically the same thing. Rock(dead coral) and and algea, with a little something here and there

Pretty cool to see some sponges and fans in the wild also. would absolutely love to dive Indonesia or Australia. Maybe one day.

What part of FL? I know a few spots in south Florida still chock full of living brain coral and some stag/elk horn corals. Can snorkel from the beach and all north of Miami too

Swfl. The gulf side. I agree, not completely dead yet... but it is evident that it used to be soo much more. Even in the keys, still plenty there but alot gone
