Well I'm waiting for my new reefer 250 to come I'm researching all the rest to get up and running . The tank is 20x21x36 The Lfs is telling me it will be fine with 2 AI Prime Hd s Anyone with some input would be appreciated .
For the cost it would be nice but I have reservations.

I have reservations.
I have reservations too.

I just don't think they can pull off your 35.5" width and be able to get the even led spread that you need.

This is the spec for the AI
Power Output
With a spread of 24" x 24", the AI Prime® HD has a peak PAR of 100µMol at a depth of 24 inches, more than enough for your hungriest of livestock. Drawing a maximum of 55 watts from the wall, it follows in the family’s efficient footsteps.

I would do 3 of them - 1 can do 24 inch coverage but you'll have shadowing and low par. Doing 1 per 12 inches of length would be enough.

If your set on leds. Go for 2radions xr15 gen 4 if possible but Gen 3s are fine. My coral grows like crazy under 2 Gen 4s at %65 now and am raising slowly and measuring with par meter to get things just right. Mostly LPS and zoas. Some easy SPS

I'd want the spread and par :)
If I can't do led's right then I'd go T5.

But... JMO :)

At least you can get the wider lenses with radions :)

I have two primes on my 40 gal frag tank. I use all of it minus 4" on each side and it grows amazingly (no sps though)

Depending what you plan on keeping, but pretty much no the primes will not be enough.
I have 2 Radion XR15 Gen 4 and although they are good, they still leave me wanting more coverage to reduce shadowing.
I'm currently building a Radion/T5 hybrid fixture =P
