I am thinking of getting a 40b, and it would have to go in my finished basement, as I am not sure how sturdy other parts of my house are. But I am worried about possible corrosion on nearby electronics. Has this been a problem for people with similar tanks? I do plan on having a lid to minimize evaporation. I would assume not, as all the controllers like the apex, and others would have problems. But I just want to be safe.

Unless you already have moisture issues, a 40 should hurt anything.
