Old lion fish in 400g has an internal organ problem that can't be treated and will die soon. Will the lion release any poison before I am able to remove him?

No. Their venom is in their upper dorsals and released when their fully alive in form of stings and will not take down a tank in fact people eat them for meals- They dont contain poisonous organs.

No, but they don;t have to be alive to sting you, so be careful not to poke yourself when removing him.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
