Will a uv sterilizer break down amino acids or iodine?

I just added a uv sterilizer and I dose amino acids and iodine. Will the uv break those down so that they are no longer useful to the corals?

I use uv sterlilizer and I dose amiono acid, iodine as well. I program my uv sterilizer to turn off for 4 hours after the dosing.

I do not think it will significantly deter consumption of these items.
