Will coral polyps grow back after bailout?

I dont know. About 2 weeks ago, one of my acan polyp bailed out (if thats the right word) and until now it is very much surviving. It's got good colour, it eats. But, Idk about growing/reproducing/multiplying. All I know is that if a coral polyp bailout and you want it to survive, it's a lot of maintanence, because water flow/tank inhabitants can disturb it and the polyp is already stressed out. I only have one animal that moves around a lot, that is a hermit crab, so my coral polyp is safe. I just put it in a low flow enviroment.
