Will CUC bother corals on the sand?

Will CUC such as nassarius snails and conchs bother corals that are placed on the sand bed?

Occasionally they will walk on corals which causes them to close up for a bit. But generally speaking there is no issue with keeping corals on the sand, many of us do.
