Right now I just have AquaticLife Marquis T5HO 2x39 watt fixture over my 40 breeder. I was wondering if by replacing the bulbs with something else would provide any benefit (until upgrading the light fixture completely in the fall) for growing corals or if that would just be a waste of time/money.

Not going to be keeping anything special; just leathers/softies/maybe some LPS.

Had dual T5's with True actinic and Coral plus as a supplemental lights of Current orbit led.

Perfect example. Each spectrum of bulb will give your corals a different look. That is a great depiction for comparison.
